It has been over half an hour since I have been standing in the queue. I have left 7 metro trains and still just managed to reach half the distance where I started from.

The Moony Mughal

He stood in a majestic meadow,
the distant cow moo-ed,
the sun kissed the horizon,
and watched the birds brood

With an artistic swish,
the brush drew another cow,
the painter dabbed on his palette,
and poked himself in the brow.

Play in the Hay, Until you get your Way!

One fateful day,
I read the Editorial page,
"Are you doing what you love?"
full of experienced deliberation and rage.

I asked myself the same question,
an array of thoughts stood in queue,
outside my mind for the doors to open,
"What do I want to do?"

Daily doses of comfort,
made me lazy,
For, procrastination had no bail,
so I got out of the bitter barn,
to play in the hay.

Writing is on the Wall

The first drops of rain,
the smell of grass,
I rock on my armchair,
penning down that freshness.

The summer sun scorches,
dead silence in the streets,
I sit under a shady tree,
penning down that calmness.

The spring, the blossom
the winter, the autumn,
I sit beside my Incense Stick,
penning down that turbulence.
